training sessions

Juniors Tuesday 5.30pm-6.30pm Age Group: Under 11 Tuesday 6.15pm-7.30pm,Thursday 7.00pm-8.15pm Age Group: Under 13 Tuesday 6.15pm-7.30pm,Thursday 7.00pm-8.15pm Age Group: Under 14 Tuesday 7.15pm-8.30pm, Thursday 7.00pm-8.15pm Age Group: Under 15/17/20

Seniors Monday 7pm Speed work / hill session at the track (Stratford High School, Alcester Road) Wednesday 7pm Tempo or steady run (5 to10 miles) at the Sports Club. (Note - club race on first Wednesday each month at different venues so check before turning up) Sunday 8am Long training runs (10+ miles) Timing varies depending on races etc.

Membership

Annual Membership fees (renewable on 1st April) are:

Senior (18+) - £60

Junior (8-18) - £50 (+ £1 match fees)

Student - £20

Social - £20

Membership entitles you to use of Stratford Sports Club facilities, including, showers and changing, bar and restaurant, access to the club outside regular hours and parking permit while using the club. Other benefits include:

reduced entry fee to races

discounts on running gear

a chance to meet new friends

a fun way to become fit and healthy

There is no obligation to join straight away, so feel free to come down and try us out a few times. Just contact our Membership Secretary  to let us know you are coming.

Club Kit

The official club colours are as follows:

Vest - Yellow with one black hoop

Shorts - Black (optional yellow stripes)

Club members must wear club colours (at least a club vest) in all races for which they have paid the affiliated fee as a member of SAC. Club colours must also be worn for club races. Both of these are SAC rules.

All kit can be obtained through the club from the Kit Secretary. Reasonably priced shorts, vests, T-shirts and sweatshirts in club colours are available, together with other accessories such as gloves, tracksters and reflective vests. Other items will be ordered if there is enough demand to make up a minimum quantity (usually six). Suggestions for other items to stock are always welcomed.

Smaller sized items specifically for young athletes are available for the Junior Section of the club. These are ordered and distributed separately by the Junior Kit Secretary
