Sunday morning bike session departing from the Sports Club at 9.00am.
This will just be a chance to practice your group riding skills with a steady/recovery ride at 15-17 mph for 1-4 hours and build up some bike stamina at the same time. To cater for as many standards and requirements as possible:
The most important thing to realise is that this is not a hard ride. You won’t be dropped and we’ll slow down after hills and descents to regroup. It’s going to be fun and a chance to get some mileage in without the boredom of cycling on your own.
But, to be fair to the whole group, please be sure you are comfortable riding in a group and that you can ride comfortably for at least an hour at 15-17 mph. Otherwise, as I’m sure you will appreciate, everyone gets frustrated at having to wait at every junction and the group starts to break up.
